its a great game, but i wished that there was a better way to get dreams faster, or getting more when you reach the top, because in 11 attempts i just got 1 gallery photo, and its kinda boring get to the top just to get a low chance in the wheel
not going to lie 23 rolls just to get 1 pic and a skill that i did not even get or maybe it just dose not show up under the skills area is kind of a slap in the face not worth the time . . fun for a min but without a good reword system i cant recommend this game
For you uncontrollable gamblers out there, if you wedge yourself on the back right side of the elephants leg and tail, you will rapidly climb and land on the floor giving you one dream a floor touch. You will need to readjust here and there but if you want to spin a wheel and not climb at all, there you go.
What a nice, family friendly platformer game, with NO NSFW content... I beat the entire course on my 4th try and didn't get lucky with the 3 spins I did, so I never actually saw any NSFW content, or know if the skill button does anything. I expected there to be a big reward for getting to the end, but no... there was nothing.
If I can give few piece of advice on how to improve the game, you should probably: 1-Make the course faaaaaaar longer, not necessarily harder mind you, or add a second level.
2-Have some content be unlocked after getting to some arbitrary obstacle or elevation, maybe a bit of dialogue with an angle or two if you want to make a mini-story.

3- Okay, to get back to the wheel, you should either change it so that its gets more likely to obtain something after every spin, or go Harder with the unfair, gacha aspect and have multiple wheel you unlock with decreasing odds of getting what you want. (Like wheel 1 has 50% chance of giving you a reward, wheel 2 only 25%, wheel 3 only 12%, and so on), I think it could play well with the player's frustration while pushing them along. That, or follow the boring option and remove it entirely and put a shop like every other game.
4- THE FUCKING CAMERA KEEPS TELEPORTING ON IT OWN! ... by which I mean that, after scrolling too far right or left, the camera either stops and refuses to spin any further, or just changes the angle entirely at random (sometimes just a bit, sometimes doing a full 180° on me). Please fix this. thanks
5- The dream system is far too easily chessable and unfair.
5.1: From what I gathered, you get 1 dream per unique "platform" you touch since last time you fell back down to the ground. This means that the most effective way to farm dreams is to hop back and forth on the first platform instead of playing the game, especially since, the higher you are, the least you want to fall.
5.2: Since you only get a dream per unique platform you touch, missing a jump, but managing to land on a lower platform before continuing the course from there doesn't give you more points for the part that you already travelled on before, regardless of how far down you fell. Which means that I could fall all teh way down to that blue bear at the beginning from the huge temple in the sky, get all the way back up there, fall again to the ground, and only have 1 or my 2 trips adding dreams to my total
5.3: My solution is, that, instead of having the floor reset the fact that platforms give you dreams, you should add a layer (maybe 10 or 20 meters) underneath the player's highest reached platform and only add dreams when the player falls below that layer and have every platform beneath that layer give you dream when walking on them. Once the player falls below the layer, the layer will be set to which ever platform they'll land on (including the ground). That way, it'll force players to climb up and not just stay on the first obstacle to farm, but also make it fairer for those who fall during their climb.
6: I can see the images used for the intro, outro and in the cabin below and a bit to the side of the map. Just move them somewhere I can't see, or unload them during normal gameplay.

I hope I haven't bored you to death with my comment, and that you manage to take something out of it.
I just want to make clear that I am writing such along comment only because I think the game has some potential, and that it'd pain me to see it fail.

I REALLY appreciate all this feedback. Alot of the stuff you've touched on I already had a general idea of what I need fix/improve on.
So for the NSFW aspect, yeah right now the game is definitely barebones. The only real way to see anything NSFW is to get lucky on the Wheel of Dreams. That's not ideal and I plan on creating some more story elements that will either have the player interact with the angels more, or have a new story altogether that ties everything in. In future updates I'll focus more on this aspect and add nsfw everywhere including fixing up the ending (´ ε ` )♡
The Wheel system is meant to be frustrating, my first immediate fix is to make it slightly easier by being more generous with the skill unlocks and gallery unlocks. I might also nerf the jackpot since quite a few people have told me if you win the jackpot it essentially lets you cheese the system and unlock everything instantly. As well I want to have more gacha/gambling style games for players to have things to spend their hard earned dream points on.
Also you're partially right about how the dreams are acquired.
Any time a player touches a platform above the first 3 jumps, the platform is "marked". All the marked platforms will increase the dream amount by
1 + x (x being a variable based on height, so if you get really high, the platforms at the top give more dream compared to the ones at the bottom)
I think for a 0.1 launch its the start of a workable system, but it definitely has room for improvement. Your idea has really good suggestion where if the player falls beneath a certain distance, the "marked" platforms will reset. I'm definitely going to find a way to integrate this!!!
I'll also be sure to move the starting images and ui images so you can't see them anymore haha.
Also for the camera breaking bug, are you currently playing the game in non-fullscreen? I notice this glitch occurring when the game isn't full screen, but can't seem to recreate it when I use the fullscreen button at the bottom right of the window. I wonder if its an itch io webgl issue. As well the standalone version doesn't seem to have this issue so currently I'm trying to find a way to replicate this so I can resolve it.
Either way, truly truly truly thankful for your post. Lots of great information and I'm trying to have another build out by the end of this upcoming weekend with some major changes as well as many of the things you've touched on ^^
The possibility to spin absolutely nothing most of the time is quite frustrating, even more when combined with the fact that you've to start all over whan you make a single mistake, sometimes because of the camera or some collision errors. Then, for once I got a yellow spin, I got no skill awarded.
Yeah, right now its set 75% loss, definitely going to ease up on that in the next version, but it will be easier overall for sure either through additional spins or other mechanics. I definitely want the wheel to be a minor aspect of the game overall as I intend to have other simple minigames the player can spend their dream points on.
I'll have to find a good middle ground for the rates so it doesn't feel too broken or unfair in the risk/reward ratio.
ok, the jump is kinda busted. made it way too easy to just glitch a double jump to the top. if you hold the jump as soon as you leave the ground it gets confused and thinks you're still at the ground level after you land. so after the first jump at lv3 or higher it can easily just send you to the top with no effort. the wheel is extremely unbalanced, but if you hit a jackpot you can upgrade your jump to max way too easily.
Thanks I'll definitely have to play around with the wheel and adjust the values of it so it feels more "fair" in general. Also going to add fixing the double jump bug asap!! ⸜(。˃ ᵕ ˂ )⸝
Incredible!!! Even in all my testing it took well over 25+ tries to finally make it (and thats with moving objects so its easier). I'll be extending the length of the game quite a bit in future updates, also will be changing how the angels are interacted with so they can be seen more and have backgrounds/stories to tell. Yeah the angels are a "reward" for spinning the wheel of dreams. I intend to make that more clear, as well the dreams are given as currency for reaching higher heights, and are assigned when the player falls and touches the ground. the camera just never stays still, it's constantly rotating, even if I'm not even touching my mouse. The game is hard enough as it is, dizzyness doesn't need to be an aspect
nice start but there are a few thing i didn't like:
The forward jump is to "Strong". the momentum is hard to control, i think unresponsive would be a better word. overall the arial movement feels weak. Even if it's suposet to be hard, i would tweek it a bit.
The rotation of the camera the second i stop mymouse movement. It looks like a glitch. If it's not, then it would be better to delay that until, like half a minut has pased (without any in put).
Bug: when useing the jump boost then landing on the chest you can jump again to do another jumpboost (is you didn't touch anything else during the jump)

so i got a skill roll but there is nothing in the skills column
now there is a new skill i did not have after i won once so it seems that's where those skill rolls went

Ensure that hardware acceleration is enabled on Chrome. If it isn't it'll lag alot :(

...am I missing something? I'm not seeing any "angels", not gathering any "dreams", and I sure as shit didn't see or get any "relief".

Going to adjust the air control rate significantly so gameplay feels better overall. Will also fix the camera glitching when falling down.
